The VOSHA Review Board (Review Board) is making comprehensive revisions to its current Rules of Procedure (Rules) which were adopted in August 1994.
PROPOSED RULES: The Proposed Rules were filed with the Vermont Secretary of State (SOS) and the Interagency Committee on Administrative Rules (ICAR) on July 31, 2020. On August 10, 2020, the Proposed Rules were reviewed by ICAR.
PUBLIC COMMENT: The Proposed Rules were published in newspapers of record in September 2020. A notice of Proposed Rules was also sent to stakeholders. This was followed a virtual public meeting which was held on October 16, 2020, via Microsoft Teams Conference Bridge. There were no attendees at this meeting. Public comment deadline was October 26, 2020. Three stakeholders responded in writing.
FINAL PROPOSED RULES: The Final Proposed Rules were submitted to SOS and the Legislative Committee on Administrative Rules (LCAR) on June 15, 2021. LCAR reviewed the rule on July 15, 2021 and July 22, 2021 and approved adoption with a minor substantive change and a few typographical errors. LCAR Approval Memo
ADOPTION: The revised Rules were submitted to SOS and LCAR on August 2, 2021 and will become effective on August 17, 2021.
